2. Purpose of Using Personal Information

The Investment Corporation mainly acquires personal information concerning holders of its securities, tenants of its invested assets, and other clients.
The purposes for which the Investment Corporation may utilize personal information are as follows:

• To fulfill the obligations to holders of securities issued by the Investment Corporation
• To facilitate interaction between unitholders and the Investment Corporation
• To prepare register of unitholders, register of investment corporation bond holders, statutory reports and other documents in accordance with requirements under all laws and regulations, and to manage unitholders’ and investment corporation bond holders’ information
• To collect and analyze statistics and data in order to provide information to potential purchasers of investment units, investment corporation bonds or other securities issued or to be issued by the Investment Corporation
• To smoothly collect and analyze data relating to acquisition of investment assets, surveys and investigations relating to acquisitions or offers of sales of investment assets by the Investment Corporation, and to ensure the smooth execution of selling activities
• To properly conduct investment asset leasing business by the Investment Corporation (Including use in conducting questionnaire surveys, etc. to increase the convenience, etc. for users of invested assets of the Investment Corporation.)
• To facilitate requests to such professional specialists as attorneys at law, certified public accountant, real estate appraisers, judicial scriveners, and land and building inspectors for the business by the Investment Corporation
• To borrow funds relating to the acquisition and management of assets by the Investment Corporation and to issue investment corporation bonds or investment units
• To appropriately and smoothly facilitate other businesses of the Investment Corporation
• To provide personal information to third parties to the extent required to achieve any of the above purposes

Moreover, the Investment Corporation will use personal information to the extent required to achieve any of the above purposes and will not use personal information for other purposes. Furthermore, we will not revise the purposes of using personal information beyond an acceptable and reasonable extent.

3. Obtaining Personal Information

Personal information shall be obtained by lawful and fair means to the extent required for the above purposes. Furthermore, the Investment Corporation will disclose the purposes of using personal information on its website, etc. before acquiring such information on its own accord, or acquire such information from property management companies, etc. who manage the invested assets of the Investment Corporation. The Investment Corporation will also clarify in advance the purposes of using personal information, in the event that it acquires personal information of a customer written in contracts or other related documents (including records made via electronic media) in conjunction with a contract concluded with that customer, or in the event that it directly obtains personal information from a customer through other documents or electronic media. However, the clarification of purposes of use may be omitted in the event that the purpose of use is clear judging from the situation at the time of obtaining said information, or in the event that it is acceptable by laws and ordinances, etc.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

In addition to legally stipulated situations, the Investment Corporation may provide personal information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses to third parties listed below in the form of electronic data or printed materials, such as lists or address stickers, to the extent required for the above purposes. Provision of personal information may be carried out via written communications, mail, telephone, electronic mail, advertising media and other methods. The Investment Corporation will cease provision of personal information to third parties if it receives such a request from a customer.

• Seller or purchaser, prospective seller or purchaser in the acquisition or sale of investment assets
• Real estate business professionals
• Property management professionals
• Attorneys at law, accountants, real estate appraisers, judicial scriveners, land and building inspectors, financial institutions, non-life insurance companies and other parties involved in acquiring, selling or managing real estate
• Software providers related to the operation and maintenance of real estate

5. Securing of Accuracy

The Investment Corporation strives to ensure accurate and up-to-date contents of personal information to the extent required for the above purposes.

6. Safety Control Measures

The Investment Corporation will implement necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the proper and safe management of personal information and to prevent improper external access to personal information and its misuse, loss, corruption, falsification and leakage.

7. Entrustment of Entrusting the Handling of Personal Information

The Investment Corporation may outsource the handling of personal information held by the Investment Corporation to external operators. When outsourcing business in whole or in part, the Investment Corporation will carefully select and enter into outsourcing contracts with such external operators on the condition that they have established and implement a management system to appropriately protect personal information. In addition, the Investment Corporation will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision over such external operators to ensure safety management of personal information.

8. Ongoing Improvements

The Investment Corporation will strive to upgrade its in-house regulations relating to personal information, including this Privacy Policy, and carry out ongoing revisions. Moreover, the Investment Corporation may revise this Privacy Policy, as necessary, in response to amendments to laws and ordinances and other changes.

9. Responses to Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Erasing or Discontinuance of Utilization of
    Personal Information.

Relevant parties may contact Sekisui House SI Asset Management, the asset management company, as indicated below and request disclosure, correction or deletion of personal information, or to discontinue utilizing, providing and entrusting such personal information. Upon such requests, appropriate actions shall be taken within a reasonable time frame after confirming the party’s identity (such as via a copy of a valid driving license). (In the case of contact via an agent, appropriate actions shall be taken within a reasonable time frame after confirming the agent’s identity.)
